Can you believe it has already been one month in the new year? I can't. It has flown by and I haven't even had a chance to blog on my own blog, eeek!
Well, the new year brings new things... Has yours? I got a new dog named Honey (see left) and she's quite the squirrel hunter! :) She's an adopted doggie from A.C.T.
Now, if you have been with me for a while, you know I had bigger dogs, but this year did bring a loss... My new place is way too small for them so with regret, my big 'ol black lab Rollie is now with my cousins and is spoiled as ever and my hunting dog Georgia is out in the country now with extended family also doing well. They are happy, so even though I will miss them, I know that they are being cared for and treated well so I am happy for them. Ya know? It's the first time I ever had to give away a pet so that was tough, but I know it was the right thing to do based on the situation for the pets.
And this is them on their new cat tree. :) They LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.
Poor Macchi has kidney disease and was quite sick throughout November and December so I feel very blessed to still have him here and cherish each day with him enjoying his tree. Normally, he is the one on the top perch, but this particular day Midi got top bunk. I don't know if he LETS her have that spot or if she TAKES it...hmm. As I write this, she is up there now! :)
Well, I hope the new year will continue to bring more new and exciting things! Like writing for one. I've already started working on my WIP again. Yay! :) And as things progress in writing and life, as I can, I'll post here. So, check back soon for more.
And, I almost forgot, it's my BLOGOVERSARY!!! 2 years I believe, yay! :-) Thank you all for sticking it out. I will be around more this year, I can feel it, writing is in the air! Don't forget to check out my book reviews at my Fresno Books Examiner page and YA Vamp blogposts at VampChix blog.

Aw, thank you! I really do... :) Pets are a lot of work sometimes, but they add so much to your life as well. Just one example, my black cat is sitting on the back of my desk chair purring away as I write this! LOL Best wishes with your pet decisions & search if you decide!
